Time For Improvement In Healthcare Facility Framework
Playing text to speech
All developed countries, including the US, have nuclear weapons that are sufficient to destroy the Earth. Today's atomic bombs are 300 times more powerful than the bombs dropped on Hiroshima in the year 1945. A comparison of today's bombs with the bomb dropped on Hiroshima because we have seen its loss. Despite this, developed countries are constantly modernizing their nuclear weapons. But Covid-19 has exposed the health system of developed countries.
So far in the US, more than one million people have been infected with this disease and more than 50 thousand people have lost their lives. The severity of the situation can be understood from the fact that for the first time all 50 states of the US have declared disaster.
A few days ago, when a record budget of $ 705 billion was announced for the US Department of Defense for the year 2021 in Washington, a new race for the modernization of nuclear weapons in the strategic sector of the world started. In this budget, a provision of $ 19.8 billion was made for the development of two new nuclear weapons and two new missiles. One of them is the W-93 missile, whose features have not yet been made public by the US.
There will also be the development of another nuclear missile, the W-87, a new design of a 40-year-old thermonuclear weapon that is actually deployable on ground-fired missiles. These weapons will increase America's nuclear strength drastically.
But as the coronavirus outbreak grew in the same US, the acute shortage of PPE kits and ventilators of doctors and hospitals from every corner of the country was revealed. This reflects the fact that basic health services were not the priority of American policymakers.
Recently, four thousand sailors of the American aircraft carrier USA Theodore Roosevelt were taken to Guam. A large number of naval corona positives have also been found in this. According to Sipri, the weapons watchdog in the world, the coronavirus has now reached most of the US nuclear facilities. In such a situation, the time has come for the developed countries of the world to at least prioritize basic health infrastructure by ending the nuclear and deadly arms race.
Along with the budget, there is a need for rigorous political will to strengthen health services. This is why developed countries are forced to seek help from Cuba, a small country. Due to the Corona crisis, countries must now put medicine at the top of their agenda.
Today all the countries of the world have developed such weapons through which they can bring destruction on this earth at any time. Having the ability to protect ourselves as a nation is right, but once the problem of Covid-19 arises, when a country like America is battling for small health resources like PPE kits, we should once again It should be thought that what should be our priority, weapons or resources necessary for human health protection?
