Martyr Bhagat Singh: Revolutionary Who is still Inspiring Millions

Playing text to speech

Bhagat Singh considered as one of the revolutionary freedom fighter who inspired many young blood to not hesitate in sacrificing their life for their mother land. As his revolutionary initiative for the sake of her motherland, made him to be referred as “Shaheed” Bhagat Singh. At such a young age of about 23 years, if anyone was smiling just before being hanged to death, it was Martyr Bhagat Singh. From a tender age he has been witnessing an active involvement by his father and his uncle in the movement of freedom struggle. This made him an enthusiastic and determined young child for being a part of this freedom struggle.

His life and dedication for the motherland inspired many at that time to participate in such a noble movement. However, there are few incidences which motivated him to fight for the freedom of country, which involves the massacre at Jallianwala Bagh on 13th April, 1919. At the young age of 16, he used to wonder why so many Bharatiyas could not drive away a fistful of invaders i.e. Britishers. At that age he put all his hard work to make his contribution in any form for the freedom struggle of country.

He was the type of person who can do anything for the sake of the country. It is very saddening to witness the current condition of country after all such sacrifice done by these freedom fighters, who taught the whole country to fight for their right and learn to differentiate between right and wrong. Whereas, there is a pool of people who held the reputed and responsible designations but they are not exercising their authority in a proper manner.

The selfish nature of people is not letting the country to grow at the required pace it has to. Bhagat Singh and his other friends fight for the freedom and teach people to put country above anything, but now the things are quite opposite to it. In current scenario, people are fighting over religion, caste, and economical status. The politicians are leaving no stone unturned in establishing their power over the name of religion and distributing hate among people over the religious differences.

After all this, still there are many people who are following his unsaid teachings and making an effort in making India a good place to live in a humanly manner. It is very fascinating to learn about his life story and it motivates all people to make their effort and work count for the growth and betterment of the country. There are many inspiring and good lessons which can be learnt from his life, but the most important thing is how we are interpreting and understanding those actions and efforts.

Bhagat Singh did all that for his countries better future, so now it is our duty that how and where we took our country at the global level. So, the last thing I would say, always respect your country and everything related to it. Being a countrymen, it is our duty to represent India in a positive way and don’t make any other religion or customs above or below you, as all are equal.
