Finally, it's nearly on the verge of confirmation that US President Donald Trump is touring India, likely he is coming at the end of February for some 2 days of "relaxation period". President Trump right now must be feeling quite ambushed and frustrated in the home, as impeachment inquiry on him in Senate going on at full pace, with upcoming elections on the head, he definitely needs good escapism and India is the perfect destination for some leisure time. Here in India, President Trump will welcome by his “Howdy Friend” Prime Minister Narendra Mod- who too must be feeling exhausted from the hostile political environment and wide-spread movement against-CAA, also huge disarray over the slackening economy and rising unemployment crisis.

For both leaders, this meeting will be a “refreshing period" from all the hustle of domestic politics. As per many news reports suggests- PM Modi will likely take Trump on a trip to Gujarat for the bilateral summit, as part of Mr. Modi new craze and style of diplomacy where he enjoys taking his foreign companions to blissful destinations across India, he rejects the old-fashioned tradition of hosting a bilateral summit in regular trapped lanes of "Lutyens Delhi", this is what I call a “honeymoon diplomacy”. Last, PM Modi hosted Chinese Premier XI Jiping in Tamil Nadu's ancient coastal town of "Mahabalipuram", where along with serious diplomacy he branded and showcased the beauty of Indian heritage and culture. You have to admit Pm Modi is an excellent host. 

Apart from relaxing, there is a good scope of some on intense bilateral discussions and take on complex geopolitics. The US sees India as a perfect alternative of China as a potential market, where the US urges India to buy its more innumerable goods, by affirming India the US tries to give a best possible reply to the rise of China, after the nasty trade war the US wants to shift its market shares to India from China. But last year didn't pass as per the expectations, mainly due to escalating traffic and counter traffics, to fix this many experts believe both countries will likely to sign a “limited trade deal”, where India will ask to low down the prices of imported medical equipment and devices likes of artificial knees and heart stents, which was the bone of contention in escalated trade tensions. In return India expects the US to restore India’s "Preferential trade status" and also wants the US to low down traffic on the textiles. 

Lastly, hosting an uncanny character like Donald Trump needs some offbeat sort of hosting skills, where Mr.Modi has to deal with his "problematic unpredictable nature", who knows he might rant something new on Pakistan again?? controversies come with him wherever he goes. This also will be a fabulous spectacle for news channels to gain some fancy top ratings, Last time when the US President Brack Obama visited India, the news channels were more interested in non-stop coverage about revealing the fancy features of US President "Beast Car" rather then serious diplomatic analysis, I wish this time they don't run a prime time on President Trump rumored love affairs., Trump also will visit Taj mahal.
