Shark babies, also known as pups.

The largest embryo in the womb of some shark species will eat its siblings.

This is referred to as intrauterine cannibalism that helps to ensure that the strongest pup survives.

Shark pups can swim from the moment they are born and capable of fending for themselves.

Their mothers do not provide any parental care.
