Ever heard of Coelacanth?

By MindStick

Coelacanths are lobe-finned fish that were assumed to have become extinct around 65 million years ago, at the same time as dinosaurs.

However, a coelacanth was found off the coast of South Africa in 1938.

They are often referred to as "living fossils".

Coelacanths are unique fish with a number of unusual features.

They have a long, eel-like body, a fleshy dorsal fin, lobe-shaped fins, and a skull hinge.
