Army Day 2020 : What It Takes To Be A Soldier

Playing text to speech

Dear Fellow youngsters of India,

I, Aman Ajay Bisht, from 17 UP BN NCC (Uttar Pradesh Batallion National Cadet Corps) would like to address you all on the major topic of relevance related to the Indian Army- What It Takes To Be A Soldier?

Today is Indian Army Day and we might think to celebrate but how often have we thought of thinking as to why we have joined it? What does it take to be in this uniform of honor? holding these stars and medal of war excellence and soldiership. We can be proud of ourselves but we shall never ever forget the fact we have signed a death deal with the army to protect our beloved motherland.

When the call of duty is there we will never be hesitant to march towards the battlefield and take out the enemy bunkers and alas the tiranga, our national tricolor flag which makes us assured that the victory is achieved upon the defeat on the enemy.

When you reach your home after the war and get relaxed for a while, then certainly a phone call from the headquarters is put up to you which shows and signals that you are needed on the battlefield.

What are you waiting for? Pack your bags and wear boots up as you do not know what is the time of returning from the ferocious battlefield. You may or may not return, so what ? you are designated to die one day! why not die for the glory of motherland. Does this have any bigger justification than any other martyrdom?

Army Day 2020 What It Takes To Be A Soldier

On the battlefield, it is not a video game for someone to shoot bullets and take the risk of getting shot off in return. We are soldiers and the only aim that we have in our mind is to victory to the motherland! victory to the country! victory to the Indian army!

We shall never step back from confronting the death eye to eye with the only intention of eliminating the enemy or get ourselves eliminated.

It takes courage, respect, selflessness, determination, and passion for live this brave life of an Indian soldier. So next time when you wear your soldier uniform remember that you are wearing for your country and the time when you are gonna take your last breath as a soldier make sure you have proved your worth to the motherland with your very last drop of blood.
