Faith based adoptions are subtly linked through religious organizations that provide financial aid, jobs and resources. The accelerated way that indigenous beliefs are abandoned in favour of religion happens when survival is at stake and ideological loyalty becomes secondary. **Political Apathy Fuels the Trend** Traditional tribal influences are losing their hold on people. This disconnect, however, is exploited by missionaries, who dress up their faith as progressive and empowering. Without keeping up those things, it erodes tribal identity and conversion feels like an upgrade.
