# A Strong India Must Lead with Strength, Not Sympathy

**Strength Commands Global Respect**

[India’s](https://www.mindstick.com/blog/303842/india-wants-to-develop-high-altitude-pseudo-satellite-vehicle-why) emergence on the global map requires firmness, not emaciated calls for empathy. It is respect that a nation gains when it boasts of power, a strong economy, and clear strategy instead of pity. Compassionate strengths cultivates affinity, ensures enemies and recruits friends. The successful history of Indian resilience and growth demonstrates that it doesn’t need to be financed, it needs to be vocal. Leadership based on strength safeguards to ensure India is not taken for granted. The world admires and respects those that stay strong and do not admire those that look for sympathy.

**Economic Power Drives Influence**

Every growing country needs a sound [economy](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/337659/unlocking-funding-for-small-business-in-a-tough-economy) to support its requirements, and what can be better than having a robust economy for the growth of this nation. The truth is that goodwill won’t generate trade or investment, it is strength that will. Rising share and innovation make India more a leader than a beneficiary in the global economy. The political actions in reference must embrace autonomy, competitiveness, and assertiveness in accessing strategic markets. Weakness invites exploitation; strength commands partnership. It should focus on sectors such as technology, manufacturing, and [renewable energy](https://yourviews.mindstick.com/story/1543/countries-leading-the-charge-on-renewable-energy) and not look for concessions.

**Military Might Ensures Security**

Militarization is an indispensable necessity for a prime India. The tribal leader did not pay much attention to [sentiments against](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/40833/what-reinforced-isolationist-sentiments-against-u-s-involvement-in-world-war-ii) its troops, and it even attached new forces to increase its draw down on its enemies – only insistence on action and force would make a difference, not sympathy. Top priorities are enhancing defensive measures, renewing the [military powers](https://yourviews.mindstick.com/view/335/india-vs-pakistan-military-powers), and declaring sovereignty over the territories. Lately, passive calls for rationality are useless; strength guarantees security. India can learn from China's experience that aggression can be countered by possessing world-class [technology](https://www.mindstick.com/blog/301558/how-technology-is-changing-education) and forging strategic partnerships. The message should be clear: challenges will meet unrelenting resistance.

**Diplomacy Backed by Resolve**

RAW power, not political emotions, brings change across the globe. India needs an aggressive foreign policy; it is the fourth largest country by size and should assert itself. Sympathy-based diplomacy yields marginal gains; strength-based strategies secure long-term advantages. There are three types of Indian men that many women find appealing to date, namely those who share good character, past and fear. On trade, aboard climate negotiations, or matters of regional security, India has to wield its clout. The authority to express their opinions makes people all over the world hear what ours says.

**Cultural Confidence Fuels Leadership**

India’s [historical](https://www.mindstick.com/blog/301947/brief-history-of-how-coding-was-invented) and [cultural heritage](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/112660/how-do-universities-celebrate-and-preserve-cultural-heritage-on-campus) is an asset, not an alibi. Instead, it is imperative that Australia articulates a positive vision of [cultural identity](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/114670/how-do-wars-influence-cultural-identity-and-what-happens-to-traditions-post-conflict); of its roots, beliefs, and their [positive impact](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/100469/what-is-the-positive-impact-of-social-media-on-youth) to the world. Sympathy diminishes stature; pride amplifies it. India’s accomplishments are vast and diverse, as evidenced by yoga, space trips and more. Speaking of a strong India, it does not require it to have been acknowledged. Leadership begins with unshakable self-belief.
