The satanic verses are the words as a suggestion that was **mistaken by the Islamic prophet Muhammad** for divine revelation. These verses also praised the three goddesses al-Lat, al-Uzza, and Manat and can be read in early biographies of Muhammad. Rushdie was an **Indian-origin Muslim** writer who used to express his thoughts on the teachings of Islam through his writings. We remember the killing of a professor who was giving a lecture in the hall and was stabbed similarly and the reason behind it was he used a caricature over the topic of religion for Islam. These accidents are revealing the vibrant negative thoughts that are being filled in the minds of the youth of the world. We should work unite to defend our own humanity from such perpetrators with the assistance of the government. The leaders of such a group should be immediately arrested and all the places where they carry out their evil work should be seized.
