As per the US officials, referring to the condition of anonymity told that Zawahiri was killed when he came out of his safe house in Kabul at 6:18 a.m. on Sunday morning by a **Hellfire missile attacked** with the help of a U.S. drone. Taliban officials have declined to comment on Zawahiri’s death but previously Taliban spokesperson **Zabihullah Mujahid confirmed** that a strike took place in Kabul on Sunday he strongly condemned the attack and said it is a violation of international principles.
