With [Unlock 1.0](https://yourviews.mindstick.com/view/81347/the-unlock-1-0) on track now with certain hope that this pandemic shall soon pass, the new trend introduced to us by our own government is Virtual Rally.

If you are not in the containment zone, you can step out, enjoy the heat and get back to somewhat normal lives but with certain precautions and prevailing [restrictions](https://www.mindstick.com/news/2343/a-handbook-for-social-media-parental-restrictions).

[Bharatiya Janata Party](https://yourviews.mindstick.com/audio/1023/bhartiya-janata-party-pushes-draupadi-murmu-front-in-presidential-election) (BJP) is substantially using all means of [digital technology](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/30802/what-is-digital-technology) to reach all voters and the recent breakthrough being Virtual Rally.

Union Home Minister, Amit Shah, gave the very first virtual rally in India addressing the people of Bihar. \

Though the intentions, as specified by Mr Shah, was not aimed for the upcoming elections of 2020 but to connect with people at large fighting the pandemic and uphold their spirits.

Though, he did not back off from the uproars of one’s party and running down of another.

[Social media](https://www.mindstick.com/tag/news/social-media) and the use of technology have always been the part of the PR and event [management program](https://yourviews.mindstick.com/view/84872/how-do-i-choose-an-online-healthcare-management-program) for every [political party](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/42868/what-political-party-was-fdr) but a major square was allotted to rallies, to reach the voters in far off corners of India where digitisation is still challenge for the government.

This void for physical rallies can be filled with new growing trends like [Virtual events](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/105524/why-participate-in-forum-virtual-events) or rallies, radios, television, online campaigns or even video [conferences](https://yourviews.mindstick.com/audio/1046/importance-of-international-conferences) that will define the new era of digital future in India.
