He justly rejected the proposal of allowing married priests to be ordained in the Amazon region to fulfill the scarcity of priests. Well, this recommendation was [put forward](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/38026/a-federal-structure-of-india-was-first-put-forward-by-the) by [Latin America](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/51303/how-did-the-us-respond-to-communist-revolutions-in-latin-america) bishops last year which had alarmed conservatives in the already polarised, diminishing gradually and somewhere marginalized being with the Roman Catholic Church.
