In the last 5-8 years, the number of admissions in Engineering Institutes have been declined continuously. Which lead lakhs of seats vacant every year in all over India. Due to this, **According to the reports of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), more than 800 'substandard' Engineering Colleges have applied for closure during this transition in the whole country.** The major concern of **shutting the Engineering Institute is that the Institutes are not willing to provide quality [education](https://yourviews.mindstick.com/view/30461/the-world-s-biggest-school-system-is-also-one-of-the-worst) to the students**. The failure of these institutes includes numerous reasons. Firstly, the **Institutes provide bad, unqualified, and unprofessional faculty to students, which hampers the quality of education of institutes**. In the majority of Institutes, the **students were stuck to bookish learning only, they couldn’t get proper exposure to enhance their skills**. Secondly, the students in Engineering Colleges are not only from Urban Area or from Convent Schools, due to which they lack behind from other competitors during exams and placement period. Another issue is the attitude of students, teachers, and guardians towards knowledge-oriented education format. **Colleges majorly focus on coaching students just like schools, to get 100 percent pass percentage and maintain their result**. That is what most parents demand too. It won’t be wrong if I say, **the institutes are responsible for their self for their loss or closure of institutes**. They provide **unqualified and untrained faculty just to save their [finances](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/51979/what-is-term-deposit), which leads to bad result and less knowledgable students**. These colleges ruin their reputation by their own and this resulted into closure or merger of college, as they fail to get admission during the new session. Due to the **closure of colleges in such a rapid case, also resulted in the loss of [teaching jobs](https://yourviews.mindstick.com/view/172/teaching-a-profession-that-creates-all-other-professions) from the number of teachers**.
