# PUBG Fever In India

**In 2016, the [gaming industry](https://yourviews.mindstick.com/view/24/murderous-online-games) was revolutionized by an all-time favorite cartoon show of the 2000s.** It was **Pokémon Go** that took over the game world, wherein the makers of the game incorporated the real-time location of a user to enhance the gaming experience.

The **PUBG game addiction is on its peak** not just among students but also amongst the working people. Even**[Prime Minister](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/48500/when-was-the-the-accidental-prime-minister-the-making-and-unmaking-of-manmohan-singh-written) of India mentioned about the game.** This gaming addiction makes people forget about everything in real life and take them into a world of fantasy where they are the king. It gives a **sense of victory, every time you kill an enemy** because they are also real players like you. The body releases **good hormones** every time when your teammates compliment you that your aim was very good.

But it also has some **severe effects**, it is **developing aggressiveness in the in the children** towards their parents and others. A young man from Chhindwara in Madhya Pradesh **drank acid misunderstanding it for water**, whereas engrossed within the PUBG game. [According to the report](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/38115/according-to-the-report-released-by-the-ministry-of-environment-forests-and-climate-change-on-august-12-what-is-the-total-estimated-number-of-elephants-in-india), the man was so busy within the game that he picked up the bottle of acid rather than a bottle of water and drank it. He was rushed to a [hospital](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/43895/can-i-complete-a-degree-in-tourism-from-ignou-along-with-b-sc-in-hospitality-and-hotel-administration-from-any-ihm), where Dr.Manan Gogia performed an associated operation on the youth's intestines. Recent [news](https://www.mindstick.com/developersection/news) from the post of [Facebook](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/51743/do-you-know-what-facebook-edgerank-is-why-is-it-important) revealed that **a man left his four-month pregnant wife and her child alone** so that he could play PUBG without any interference. His wife said his husband’s sibling introduced him with the game first after that he gets addicted to that, and his addiction leads to **a frequent fight between the couple.**

**[China](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/43350/why-did-america-push-for-an-open-door-with-china) is the first [country to ban](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/32244/name-the-country-became-first-country-to-ban-fm-radio-broadcasting) the PUBG game**, and in India, it is a debatable topic because this game is making our children venerable. When I was in graduation I was a great fan of CS and Dota 2. I wasted around 1 to 2 hours every day in my gaming addiction and what I got in return **sprained neck, finger pain** and a little release of dopamine. **If we count 2 hours every day in the year it constitutes 730 hours that I had wasted in my addiction.**

We need to prevent **ourselves and our loved ones** from addiction because **addiction is addiction** whether it is of **gaming or of drugs.**\
