# A Self-Taught Teenager: AI Expert

**A teenager is the one who belongs to the age group of 9-19 years** and maximumly busy in [school](https://yourviews.mindstick.com/view/218/omg-is-it-a-government-school), coachings and friends. In contrast to this, there is a teenage boy who is completely different from his age kids namely **"Tanmay Bakshi”**. He is a merely of **14 years of age and an [AI](https://www.mindstick.com/services/artificial-intelligence) Expert for IBM**. **He is not only an AI Expert but also a very good [Computer Programmer](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/37185/does-someone-need-to-be-good-at-mathematics-to-be-a-good-computer-programmer) and all-around [tech](https://www.mindstick.com/services/technologies) extraordinaire.**

At his age, a normal kid might only be busy completing his/her schooling and planning for the future that for which company he wanted to work after finishing school and college period. Tanmay is a self-taught developer who developed several apps and source code **from the age of five**. His achievements are far more above than any one's imagination. At the age of seven, he **launched his YouTube Channel** and posted many tutorial videos on Coding and Web [Development](https://yourviews.mindstick.com/view/171/how-grave-is-this-development). From there he gets to know that there are many people who don’t have knowledge of Programming and Machine Learning.

Later, he developed **iOS Apps and developed many apps using Watson**. Simultaneously, **he wrote a book named ‘Hello Swift!’ an iOS app programming book** for kids and other beginners. Slowly, his interest inclined towards AI and shocked IBM (the renowned tech company) with his top class [skill](https://yourviews.mindstick.com/view/19/excessive-use-of-electronic-gadgets-is-leading-to-hampering-of-analytical-skills-of-students) and knowledge of AI.\

All his achievements really surprise any teenager and parents but his knowledge and dedication are very commendable. He even hosted a **TEDx Talk** and become a **speaker at IBM Watson summit around the world**.

He was quoted saying that, **“[Healthcare](https://yourviews.mindstick.com/view/62/polluted-air-of-allahabad-exacerbates-medical-issues) is a field that is really ripe to be enhanced by AI”**.

His dedication and achievements in the [technology](https://yourviews.mindstick.com/view/103/jetpack-suits-technology-at-its-best) sector are very impressive and a shown a new path to every parent and child that nothing is impossible to achieve regardless of any age criteria.
