Glass frogs are small arboreal frogs of moderate to small size with clear skin through which their internal organs can be seen.
Their belly skin is so transparent you can see their heart, intestines and even eggs. This results in making them look like living glass.
Glass frogs live in rainforests close to streams. It lives most of its life in trees but nests on leaves over water.
Despite their appearance, male glass frogs open their logs and maintain a watch over eggs until they are ready to hatch and guard them.
Their green coloration make them hide among leaves and almost invisible to any predator that is around during the day.
Glass frogs are usually small and are hard to see, therefore are among the most fascinating creatures in the natural world. They are mobility symbol.
