Former Indian Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh passed away at the age of 92.

Singh was born on September 26, 1932, and was a distinguished economist and was the first Sikh prime minister of India.

Officially Prime Minister from 2004 to 2014, Singh brokered the nuclear deal with the USA that gave India a place in the nuclear club.

He made the most impact when he was the Finance Minister in 1991 when he opened up the Indian economy and set the stage for its proper growth.

He was recognized for his honesty & simplicity. His tenure was marked by both significant growth and challenges.

His demise is the end of an era in Indian politics, yet he lived to see India become an economic powerhouse and walking diplomatic achievements.
