An international airport is set to be built near Jewar in Gautam Buddha Nagar District, Uttar Pradesh, to serve the National Capital Region.

Flughafen Zürich AG is launching a PPP project to become India's and Asia's largest airport, offering an alternative to Delhi's IGIA.
