Why apple watches got banned?

Although Apple Watches didn’t get banned completely, there are some reasons why it got banned:

Starting December 26, 2023, the Series 8 and Ultra 2 Apple Watches are temporarily banned from import and sale in the United States.

The reason is due to a patent battle with Masimo over blood oxygen sensor technology in watches led to this outcome.

Masimo sued Apple for patent infringement on sensor design, leading to an import restriction and Apple's inability to sell watches in the US.

On December 27, a US court granted Apple a temporary restraining order, allowing them to continue selling the watches despite ongoing legal fights.
