Why do humans bully others?

By MindStick

Bullying is a complex human behaviour with multiple underlying causes and major factors that may contribute to its severity:

It is a harmful behavior influenced by personal traits, mental health issues, group dynamics like competition, social hierarchies, and peer pressure.

It is frequently associated with a lack of empathy, as bullies may not fully understand or care about the emotional pain they do.

It also typically uses bullying to make themselves feel powerless or insecure, and they regularly try to exert control over others.

They often learn from firsthand experiences & follow models in their environment, such as friends, family, or media, to make bullying seem acceptable.
