Recruiters or HR often struggle to provide feedback to candidates due to time constraints and have to manage a large number of applications.

HR may be hesitant to provide feedback owing to legal concerns, as positive feedback may be misunderstood, potentially leading to lawsuits.

Negative feedback can be uncomfortable, hence, recruiters may avoid it to avoid causing discomfort or to feel unappreciated.

Although, some HR professionals or recruiters do provide feedback when they have the time.

Sometimes, the hiring manager makes the final decision, HR professionals or recruiters may not always have the power to provide comments.

If you still want to receive the feedback, ask directly, be nice and professional.
