Trichiurus lepturus, also known as juvenile cutlassfish, ribbonfish or hairtails.

They have unique features: long slender fish with silver bodies, pointed tails, spear-shaped heads.

They are mostly found in coastal waters worldwide.

They can grow up to 6 feet long and their lifespan is up to 15 years.

Unfortunately, overfishing and habitat degradation are major threats to juvenile cutlassfish populations.
