History behind Disneyland origin

While visiting Griffith Park with his daughters Diane and Sharon in the late 1940s, Walt Disney had the idea for Disneyland.

He started Disneyland's creation in the 1950s, establishing WED Enterprises in 1952 for park planning and construction.

It opened in 1955, was built in 1954 and has since become a global tourist destination as a result of its instant popularity.

It is divided into five themed lands: Main Street, U.S.A.Adventureland, Frontierland, Fantasyland, and Tomorrowland.

Today, it is a symbol of Walt Disney's vision and creativity, and has influenced popular culture, offering unforgettable experiences for families.
