India’s first regional train “Namo Bharat”

Namo Bharat is India's first regional rapid train service, offering high-speed, semi-high-frequency rail-based transit to connect cities and towns.

It runs between the Uttar Pradesh stations of Sahibabad and Duhai Depot.

The RapidX was the previous name for the Namo Bharat.

It is part of the Regional Rapid Transit System, a high-speed train system, connects cities every 15 minutes, frequency increasing to every 5 minutes.

RRTS designed for maximum speed of 180 km/h, average speed of 100 km/h and operating speed of 160 km/h.
