Then undergo annealing, a cooling process, to strengthen & prevent shattering. It Is decorated with various materials like paint, etching, or jewels.

Metal, plastic & wood bangles are made from various materials: gold, silver, copper, brass, acrylic, PVC, polyethylene, ebony, rosewood & sandalwood.

However, bangle-makers are at risk of severe health issues due to exposure to harmful chemicals containing high levels of lead & other toxic metals.

Moreover, child labour, involving children as young as 5 years old is an issue and often paid less and are more susceptible to exploitation & abuse.
