Plecos or Plecostomus fish, also known as suckermouth catfish.
It is a species of freshwater fish known as estivation that can enter a hibernation state during drought or other unfavourable conditions.
It will burrow into the mud or sand at the bottom of their environment to vent, encasing themselves in a mucus cocoon which looks like zombie fish.
The cocoon shields plecos from dehydration & environmental stress, allowing them to survive months or years without food or water.
They are omnivores, primarily consume algae and algae wafers, and fresh vegetables like zucchini & cucumber can be added to their diet.
