Evil cuckoo bird

By MindStick

The common cuckoo (Cuculus canorus) is a brood parasite, which means it lays eggs in other birds' nests.

Cuckoos are experts at detecting and parasitizing other birds' nests.

The female cuckoo will frequently observe a host bird constructing its nest before laying her egg in it while the host bird is away.

The cuckoo chick then hatches and drives the other chicks out of the nest, either by pushing them out or by hogging all the food.

Because of this behaviour, some people consider the cuckoo bird to be "evil."
