The Bermuda Triangle, also known as the Devil's Triangle, is a loosely defined region in the western part of the North Atlantic Ocean.
A number of aircraft and ships are said to have disappeared under mysterious circumstances in that region.
Some people believe that the area is home to paranormal phenomena, such as magnetic anomalies or alien activity.
Others say the disappearances can be attributed to more conventional causes such as human mistake, extreme weather, or equipment malfunction.
In 2020, published in the journal Nature Communications, discovered that region may have a section of water with a weaker magnetic field than usual.
In 2022, they again noted that the number of ships and planes lost in this area is actually no higher than in other high-traffic ocean areas.
