Bengal, Northeast to witness heavy rain in coming days, alert issued

RMC has declared an orange alert in the states of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, and Meghalaya for September 2 and 3.

The northeastern states are predicted to witness strong winds, heavy rain, and thunderstorms.

yellow alert has been issued for the northeastern states of Nagaland, Tripura, Manipur and Mizoram.

The IMD has also predicted heavy rainfall on September 3 in West Bengal
