Jamal Khashoggi Murder : The Truth Probably Will Never Be Revealed

Playing text to speech

Jamal Khashoggi was awarded the title of "Person of the Year 2018" by Times Magazine. What he did expose was a brave act of exposing cruel and dictator Saudi Arabia government. For this, he was put to death. He was so brutally murdered that the killing of him was carried out in Turkey's Istanbul Consulate. It has also affected the relationship between the USA and Saudi Arabia.

Khashoggi's courageous and legitimate crime was all that he did criticism in newspapers, targeting Saudi Arabia's royal family and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman directly.

On October 2, when the whole world celebrates International Non-Violence Day on the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi's birth anniversary, journalist Jamal Khashoggi disappears on the same day from the Consulate of Istanbul where he had gone to get his planned wedding documents. His body was torn to pieces and no remaining part of it was found to be seen again.

The journalist community around the world strongly condemned this heinous murder case and also demanded the governments of their countries to put pressure so that this case could be investigated by the Saudi Arabian government. Even when the US insisted on the Saudi Arabian government, Mohammed bin Salman ordered an inquiry.

Now, who gets to catch his own mistake? The CIA has explicitly named Mohammed bin Salman in its report, but no one has even discussed it, what harm can anyone do to the all mighty Saudi government?

Jamal Khashoggi Massacre The Truth Probably Will Never Be Revealed

From about half a month to half a year after death, the Saudi government started giving its response on this and changed its statement story on several occasions. Sometimes It denied Khashoggi's death, sometimes it spoke of his death due to strangulation.

On 19 June 2019, after a six-month investigation, the United Nations High Commissioner's Office of Human Rights released a 101-page report, holding the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia responsible for the predetermination of Khashoggi.

In September, Mohammed bin Salman claimed responsibility for the brutal murder but did not confirm of taking the sole decision but instead claimed that it happened under his watch. What logic!

After this in the case which went from November 2018 to December 2019, five people were given the death penalty in the hearing, three were sent to jail imprisonment and the remaining three were released.

The puppet Saudi court has rejected the UN report, after which the U.N. Investigator has called it a lewd joke with justice, and Khashoggi's fiancé Latice Cengiz has questioned the death penalty as a roadblock to the truth.

The statements of these two have been given because both of them have the same thing to state - suppress the truth and joke with justice. Mohammed bin Salman may have killed Jamal Khashoggi, but when the truth will never be revealed, then the real murderer - Saudi family will never be punished.
