His leadership skill were not up to the mark as India suffered a lot after Independence, the way he handled and managed the Economic growth of the country. Nehru and the Congress Party thought the people of India love him and admired him at the time, and as a result it probably ended up as the worst disaster to ever hit India, most importantly in economic terms for India. As his name specifies Pandit, which means Nehru was basically a Brahmin, and he did not like the business minded people. It left an adverse effect in the development of country as instead of the government getting out of the way and letting the market allocate business resources, the government did it on their own. And ultimately the result came out as an incredible waste of resources. This taught the whole country a lesson that the way to fight poverty is not by chopping the pie in smaller pieces but finding out the solutions for how to make a bigger pie and give benefit to maximum people regardless of their economic status.

There are numerous facts and stories about Pandit Nehru which have been kept hidden from not only to the people of India but also to the whole world. He was the also the one of them who was responsible for the partition of country as India and Pakistan. He wanted to be the First Prime Minister of India, in spite of not getting the majority votes from party members. The whole party voted for Sardar Patel, but the greed of power and being a close friend of Gandhi. Gandhi manipulated the things and requested Sardar Patel to withdraw his name and let Nehru be the first Prime Minister of India. The greed of power and inefficiency to lead the country in a proper manner makes India to face the humiliating lose in war against China after Independence.
