Easter, one of the holiest of Christian Holiday has witnessed a series of eight Bomb Blasts in Sri Lanka. The Churches and Hotels have been under this suicide bombing attack. It’s been a devastating attack in Sri Lanka after about a decade of peace in the Country. It was such a heinous crime on this holy day of Christians.
By the time the smoke cleared of these bombing, nearly 300 people lost their lives and about 500 people are injured. In this bombing not only Sri Lankan are killed whereas citizens of eight different countries were also killed. The Country is experiencing a curfew like the situation where people are only running to find their loved ones. As well as, use of Social Media has been stopped in the country, so no false news gets circulated among people. It is a preventive measure such as, to save people not to get involved in any kind of wrong activity.

It is really unfortunate that after 2 days, it is still unknown who committed this crime. But the Sri Lankan authorities are blaming an Islamist Militant group, ‘National Thowheeth Jama’ath’for these series of devastating explosions in the Island Nation of Sri Lanka. Whereas, the Government of Sri Lanka, accepted its mistake, as they overlooked the repetitive warnings from the United States and India as well, that something heinous is about to happen in Country.
Whereas, the US believes that these bombings are someway inspired by ISIS. As these types of serial blasts pattern is the way of ISIS attack. Under this, the Sri Lankan security forces arrested about 40 suspects. Still, it requires a long way to go to identify the culprits and punish them. From CCTV cameras, it has been found that the blast has been carried out by suicide bombers at Churches and Hotels.
After these serial blasts, not only Sri Lanka but also India is also on high alert with especially the coastal areas Navy forces has been put on high alert. In addition to this, India put forward its helping hand to Sri Lanka. Whereas, still the United States is warning Sri Lanka for the possibility of more attacks. The Police found 87 bomb detonators at Colombo Bus Station, in which 12 of them were scattered on the ground and rest 75 were dumped nearby garbage. So, in no manner, it was not going to limit in 8 blasts after this scene.

With regard to these serious blasts, many countries paid their respect and tribute to those victims who lost their lives in this. The lights of Eiffel Tower has been dimmed in tribute to Sri Lanka Bomb Blast Victims. India is sending a team of doctors from Kerala to Sri Lanka, in order to help people and treat the injured. On the other hand, Australia is sending a team of Australian Federal Police in order to assist the Sri Lankan Security agency to carry out the investigation.
The world stands united in such a horrible and heart-breaking event to fight against terrorism. But the question is, where this is going to end? The whole world is talking about peace and unity, but still, there is a group of people exists who don’t want to see peace and love among people all over the world.
